29 February is Rare Disease Day, falling on the rarest date of the calendar.

This is an opportunity to raise awareness that over 300 million people worldwide, most of them children, are living with rare diseases.

At CVBF, we are committed to advancing research and development for rare disease treatments. With our longstanding experience in rare disease and paediatric research, including many EU-funded projects, we strive to make a difference for patients without options.

On this Rare Disease Day, let’s reaffirm our dedication to the rare disease community. From increasing understanding to accelerating collaborations, we all have a role to play in bringing hope and progress for people affected. The rarest day of the year reminds us that every day is important to drive change for the rare disease population. At CVBF, we are honoured to be a part of this mission.
