In the framework of the EPTRI (European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure) project, a survey aimed to collect interest and detect potential service providers to be included in the future European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure was developed and distributed between April and June 2018. EPTRI is coordinated by CVBF and funded within the H2020-INFRADEV-01-2017 programme, with the aim to create the framework for a new European Research Infrastructure within the ESFRI (European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructure) landmark.

The first answers of the survey have been collected and analysed, but in order to have a more detailed and wider map of the European research units as well as more information about perceived gaps in the available paediatric research services and facilities, the survey will be re-opened in the next weeks. The goal of this action is to increase the response rate, enrich the geographical coverage and focus on possible services that responders can offer.

In order to make the interpretation and the compilation easier, 4 different questionnaires will be launched, one for each platform:

  • Paediatric Medicines Discovery and Early Drug Development
  • Paediatric Biomarkers and Biosamples;
  • Paediatric Pharmacology;
  • Paediatric Medicines Formulation.

If you are willing to participate or propose new contacts for the survey, please contact the coordinator at [email protected].
