Mental and neurologic conditions are among the leading causes of disability and death in Europe (EU), imposing a tremendous social and economic burden.  

The Share4Brain project, an Erasmus+ project coordinated by the Belgian Brain Council, aims to draw the attention of the academic and the general public, as well as relevant state institutions, to the importance of the development of basic and clinical research in the field of neurosciences, as well as to ensure, by integrating all levels of research, better prevention, better diagnosis and better treatment of patients suffering from neurological and psychiatric disorders.    

CVBF is a partner of the Project together with Consejo Español del Cerebro, Greek Carers Network EPIONI, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Serbian Brain Council. 

The Share4Brain Final Meeting, organized in collaboration with the University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ will be a hybrid event and will take place on 5-6 May 2022 at Hotel Excelsior, Bari, Italy. This meeting is one of four National meetings organized in the framework of the project to implement common actions in   addressing the societal problems associated with brain conditions. 

The agenda includes scientists, clinicians, patients and health decision-makers representatives that will discuss the major topics linked to brain disorders and the consequent human and economic burden for patients and society.
