The latest international standards of care for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) were published in 2018, leading to a greater emphasis on regular vertebral fracture monitoring and early treatment of bone morbidity. However, the landscape of DMD care has changed since then. The 3rd International Muscle-Bone Interaction in DMD Symposium will be held online on the 3rd and 14th of November, 2022 at 17:00-20:00 GMT.

Registrations are now open. To express your interest, go here.

The symposium aims to review the evidence base that informed the 2018 international standards of care, best practices for implementation of these care considerations, and emerging knowledge that has arisen from research in the past two years.

You can find more information about the symposium and the agenda here.
